Background Information
Michael Chukwudumike Akabogu obtained a B.Tech in Crop Production Technology from Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State.
He also holds a masters in Finance and MBA in Finance and Global Management. He further secured a PhD in Financial Mathematics.
Dr. Akabogu also has a project management certificate of Bryant University Executive Development Centre and he has over 15 years experience in financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, revenue, debt and risk management.
Other Information
Dr Akabogu served in the USA for several years in the capacity of business/financial analyst and financial planning portfolio analysis, and also a former vice president, Bank of America (BOA).
Dr Michael Akabogu returned to Nigeria where he served as special adviser to various ministers in the country. He was once a Director General at the Debt Management Office (DMO), Nigeria.
He also served as board member of the Trust Fund Pension. Dr Michael Akabogu was also a former senior special adviser to the minister of labour and employment, Dr Chris Ngige.
