Background Information
Mrs. Temitope Caroline Akinwale is a native of Ogbomosho in Oyo State of Nigeria. As a result of her desire to further her education, she gained admission after the successful completion of her secondary education into the prestigious University of Ife (Obafemi Awolowo University) Ile-Ife, where she obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting (B.Sc. Accounting). In her pursuit of professional excellence, she enrolled for the examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and was inducted as an Associate member in 1991. Today, Temitope is a Fellow of the Institute. In a bid to acquire professional training, she joined the services of B Omotosho & Co (Chartered Accountants) as an Audit Supervisor where she acquired experience in financial reporting, audit, taxation, consulting in both the private and public sectors of the economy. She also has to her credit, an eleven (11) year work experience in Trans Nigeria Assurance Company Limited, owned by the old Oyo State. Temitope has held strategic positions in reputable companies bringing to bear Skills and experience acquired over the years. She has over thirty (30) years working experience

. She was recently appointed as an Executive Director, Finance & Investment at the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) – A parastatal of the Federal Government of Nigeria under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Labour & Employment, an appointment endorsed by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR. She was also recently appointed into the Board of Trustfund Pensions Limited. She is God fearing, a woman of valour and integrity. She is a mother, a friend, a community leader, an adviser, a good listener, and a Christian. Akinwale Temitope Caroline is married to Pastor Akinbola Akinwale, a seasoned educationist and Chartered Accountant. Their marriage is blessed with beautiful Children.
